Hello
In December of 2024 I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at San Francisco State University and am currently pursuing a Master's degree. My journey in Mechanical Engineering started when I first helped my brothers work on cars. It made me think about how much effort had to go into designing, testing, and manufacturing cars in order to create a viable product.
I grew up on a apple orchard where I learned to do everything from welding to driving a bulldozer. On the orchard there was always equipment that needed to be repaired or modified to complete a certain task. These constant challenges were a valuable experience for me as an aspiring engineer. I learned how to come up with prototypes on the go and fix them when they failed until I got the desired result.
When I wasn't repairing a broken tractor fork or putting up a fence, I was learning about planes and cars. I would read about them in books and go to see them at museums and airshows with my family. It is something I am still passionate about to this day.
